Zoals je al in onze review van Life is Strange: True Colors hebt kunnen lezen, draait de game op 30 frames per seconde. Dit geldt ook voor de PlayStation 5- en Xbox Series X|S-versies, wat een beetje opmerkelijk is. Deck Nine laat nu weten waarom deze keuze is gemaakt.
De meeste games op de huidige generatie consoles draaien op 60fps en daarom vallen titels die op 30fps draaien erg op, waaronder Life is Strange: True Colors. Deck Nine heeft hiervoor gekozen om de game een meer cinematisch gevoel mee te geven. Het spel is verpakt als een tv-serie, dus lijkt dit een gegronde reden.
De ontwikkelaar laat tevens weten dat er een aantal patches aan zitten te komen voor de game om wat problemen op te lossen. De planning is als volgt:
