Turok keert terug met coöperatieve third-person shooter Turok Origins

Turok is terug. De wat oudere gamers onder ons kennen de Turok-games vast nog wel van de Nintendo 64 en pc, en later andere platformen. In 2008 verscheen de laatste Turok-game en nadien werd het stil rond de franchise, maar nu keert de serie dus terug.

Vannacht is tijdens The Game Awards Turok Origins aangekondigd. Het betreft hier een third-person shooter, waarmee de game afwijkt van het first-person perspectief in eerdere delen. Daarnaast kent de campagne een coöperatieve speelstand voor maximaal drie spelers.

De game is in ontwikkeling voor de PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S en pc. Het is nog niet bekend wanneer de game uitkomt.

• Experience an Epic Story Across the Lost Lands – Throughout Turok‘s missions, players will journey across breathtaking yet deadly worlds on various planets. From ancient temples and wasteland canyons to dense jungles, each location holds pieces of an unforgettable story that is packed with twists and turns.
