Ninja Gaiden keert terug in de vorm van een 2D side-scroller

De Ninja Gaiden-franchise begon aan het einde van de jaren ’80 en in de voorbije decennia hebben talloze spelers wereldwijd (bijna) hun controllers gebroken tijdens het spelen van deze games. Ja, ze zijn toch wel best moeilijk, maar tegelijk ook zo geweldig leuk om te spelen. Tijdens The Game Awards was er leuk nieuws voor de fans, want de reeks keert terug met een nieuwe game. Al is het misschien niet helemaal wat je had verwacht.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound gaat namelijk terug naar de roots van de reeks en kiest voor een 2D side-scroller, in plaats van een 3D-actiegame. De game wordt gemaakt door ontwikkelaar ‘The Game Kitchen’, die we kennen van de Blasphemous-games (ook best moeilijke titels). Het wordt dus een moderne twist op de klassieke Ninja Gaiden-games, maar dan in de typerende stijl van de ontwikkelaar. Klinkt alvast veelbelovend!
