Er is via een persbericht meer informatie naar buiten gekomen over de PlayStation 4 en wat we straks precies krijgen voor die 399 euro. Ook bevestigde Yoshida via Twitter allereerst even dat de PS4 gewoon regio-vrij zal zijn. Koop je dus een game in Japan, Noord-Amerika of waar dan ook; dan werkt deze gewoon in je Europese PS4.

Het pakket voor 399 euro bevat een PS4 met een 500GB hardeschijf, is dit te weinig voor je? Dan kun je deze zelf upgraden voor een nieuwe hardeschijf met eventueel grotere capaciteit. In de doos van de PS4 vind je een DualShock 4 controller die ook los verkrijgbaar zal zijn voor €59,-. Daarnaast zit er een stroomkabel in, USB-kabel, HDMI-kabel, AV-kabel en een mono-headset in en uiteraard de PS4-console zelf.

De PlayStation Camera wordt los verkocht voor een adviesprijs van €49.
