Roguelike shooter Starship Troopers: Continuum aangekondigd

De legendarische Starship Troopers-franchise keert terug! Sony Pictures Virtual Reality en XR Games hebben de handen in elkaar geslagen en kondigen nu vol trots hun project aan: Starship Troopers: Continuum.

Dit wordt een online roguelike first-person shooter die gemaakt is voor VR. Je zal in een squad van maximaal drie spelers moeten zien te overleven tegen hordes aan insecten. Neem dus dat geweer in de handen en stort je in de strijd!

Starship Troopers: Continuum zal verschijnen op 17 oktober voor de Meta Quest 2 en 3, een PlayStation VR2-versie volgt dan op 31 oktober. Lees hieronder meer en bekijk een trailer.

It’s 25 years since the Battle of Klendathu, and the war between the Federation and the Arachnid is deadlocked. But the planet Janus-4 holds a secret that threatens to tip the balance of the war—one way or the other.
