Een grote verrassing is het niet meer, want na een eerder gerucht en vervolgens een vroegtijdige melding is The Thing: Remastered zoals verwacht inderdaad uitgebracht door ontwikkelaar Nightdive Studios.
De game is nu verkrijgbaar voor de PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbxo Series X|S, Nintendo Switch en pc. Om de release wat extra te benadrukken, heeft men een trailer uitgebracht en die kan je hieronder bekijken.
