Yellow Brick Games heeft aangekondigd dat de game waarmee de studio zijn debuut zal maken, Eternal Strands, vanaf 28 januari beschikbaar zal zijn voor de PS5, Xbox Series X|S en pc.
Yellow Brick Games COO en Executive Producer Jeff Skalski deelde ook het nieuws dat de studio samen met Square Enix-studio Creative Studio 3 zal samenwerken aan gratis post-lancering content voor Eternal Strands. Creative Studio 3 is het team onder leiding van Square Enix-legende Naoki Yoshida, dat onder andere verantwoordelijk was voor de ontwikkeling van Final Fantasy XIV en Final Fantasy XVI.
“As a long-time fan of Square Enix and the games Creative Studio III have made under the helm of Naoki Yoshida, member of Square Enix’s board of directors, and studio head of Creative Studio III, this is a dream come true for all of us here at Yellow Brick Games. To first have the opportunity to create our own original fantasy IP and then have the chance to work with the Creative Studio III team to further enrich it with all-new content is just a once in a lifetime moment. As an independent studio working on our first game, we will forever be thankful to them. I can’t wait for the players to experience the new cool designs from the master artist Yusuke Mogi when our first free post-launch update for Eternal Strands arrives in the spring of 2025.”
Eternal Strands zal vanaf 28 januari beschikbaar zijn voor de PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S en pc, en direct via Game Pass te spelen zijn.
