De franchises Ys en Trails in the Sky komen volgend jaar samen in de cross-over fighting game Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, zo heeft Falcom aangekondigd. Deze game verschijnt voor de PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch en pc.

Helemaal nieuw is de game overigens niet, want oorspronkelijk verscheen deze titel in 2010 in Japan voor de PlayStation Portable, maar een Westerse release bleef toen helaas uit.
