Ontwikkelaar Virtuallyz Gaming en uitgever Microïds hebben aangekondigd dat de originele Syberia weer terugkeert. Het gaat hier om een remaster van de point-and-click adventure game, die dit najaar zal uitkomen voor de PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S en pc.
De game is grafisch opgeleukt, waardoor het er een stuk beter uitziet dan 20 jaar geleden toen de titel voor het eerst uitkwam. Daarnaast is de game voorzien van een verbeterde user interface, een betere besturing, een frisse draai op de puzzels en meer.
Een specifieke releasedatum is nog niet bekendgemaakt, maar de game komt uit in het laatste kwartaal van 2025.
