Ik wil een nieuwe telefoon want mijn Sony Ericsson S500i Valt letterlijk en figuurlijk uit elkaar.
Ik wil een smartphone met WIFI,volledig qwerty toetsenbord en hij moet betrouwbaar zijn(circa 4 jaar uit kunnen zingen)
dus eigenlijk valt touchscreen al meteen af.
Mij budget is circa €240 en daarmee vond ik 2 producten die mij wat leken namelijk.

De Nokia E71 (helemaal van staal en met veel functies en ik heb al eens een symbian menu in handen gehad op mijn vriend zijn e51 en dit vind ik een heel overzichtelijk besturingssysteem.

En de HTC snap (heeft ook veel functie maar ziet er minder betrouwbaar uit en dat scroll balletje houd het denk ik geen 4 jaar mee, en heeft windows mobile 6,5 maar ik weet niet of dit net zo gebruiksvriendelijk is als Symbian)
Heeft iemand van jullie 1 van deze telefoons en kan mij zeggen welke gebruiksvriendelijker en betrouwbaarder is??
Ik heb een N82 en een Touch Diamond, maar ik moet zeggen dat ik die N82 beter vind (symbian)
Ik zou voor de E71 gaan (en misschien voor de E75, maar die is denk iets duurder (weet ik niet exact)
Heb blijft je eige keuze,maar ik zou voor E71 gaan 😉
Ik heb idd gehoord dat de e71 echt een toptelefoon is!!
Hij zou ook heel betrouwbaar zijn.
Als je nog 50 a 60 meer doet kan je E75 halen, schuifqwerty en ook gewoon pad.
Moet je maar kijken.
Mijn vader heeft die en die bevalt zéér goed 😉
Ik moet heel eerlijk bekennen omdat ik nu een schuif heb en dat niet bevalt wil ik het liefst een blok dat geen schuifdelen enzo heeft wat kan slijten.
Dus dan zou ik zelf voor de e71 gaan.
Een kennis van mij heeft die N71, hij loopt der al best wel lang mee, nog nooit problemen mee gehad. Alles werkt gewoon lekker. Vrienden van mij die hebben allemaal een HTC en die hebben er echt een hoop gezeik mee, dat dat het niet doet of der is weer iets kapot, echt heel veel gezeik. Ik had persoonlijk voor de Nokia gegaan

Maar:
1 hij is duurder
2 hij is niet geheel van staal net als de e71(voelt degelijker)
3 ik heb liever niks wat schuift
4 niet meer functies

hoezo is touchscreen niet betrouwbaar genoeg dan?
ik had een Qtek S100 (tegenwoordig HTC) en dat was 1 van de eerste kleine telefoon’s met touchscreen
heb ik 6 jaar mee gedaan!!
Ook al was hij niet stuk, maar de behuizing wel erg beschadigd (en ik wou gewoon een nieuwe), heb ik nu de HTC Touch Pro 2, bevalt me prima!
ik heb de E71 een paar keer in handen gehad en ik vind hem echt niet gebruiksvriendelijk
de menu indeling slaat nergen op en je zoekt heeel lang naar iets wat je zo moet kunnen aanklikken

Ik ook en ik vond dat wel.
En over die menu:
Je kan bij symbian je indeling van menu’s naar eigen smaak indelen dus dat is geen probleem XD
E71 moet je gewoon nemen, gewoon vel chiller 😉
Ik heb een nieuwe telefoon gevonden.
Ik zit nu een beetje te twijfelen tussen deze en de E71.
Namelijk de Samsung B7330 omnia pro:

Design:
Nokia looks and feels expensive, while HTC Snap does not. At the same time, Nokia has much smaller buttons, and it is much harder to type faster on Nokia E71 as compared to HTC Snap.
Battery:
Both phones provide a 1500 mAh battery but Nokia E71 lasts much longer then HTC Snap.
Speaker:
Nokia E71 speaker produces a higher and better quality sound as compared to HTC Snap.
Camera:
Nokia E71 has 3.2 MP Auto Focus with LED Flash, while HTC Snap has 2.0 MP camera without LED Flash, and Auto focus.
External Memory Card:
Both phones can use up to 32 GB external memory card.
Track Ball vs D-pad:
It is simply a matter of choice. D-Pad is better for internet browsing, while Track ball is better for general operations.
Size and weight:
HTC Snap is slightly bigger in size, while lighter in weight (120g vs 127g) as compared to Nokia E71.
3.5mm jack:
Both phones do not have 3.5mm jack.
WIFI:
Both phones support WIFI internet, but HTC Snap offers it noticeably faster than Nokia E71.
Processor (speed):
HTC Snap is much faster, due to a better processor (528 Mhz vs 369 Mhz in Nokia E71).You can continue to install many applications without feeling much difference in speed. While Nokia starts lagging after installing only six or seven applications. So Nokia is definitely not made for power users.
Operating System:
HTC Snap uses Windows Mobile 6.5 (after upgrading), and Nokia uses Symbians60.
Symbian gives a much richer experience over all, added to the user friendliness of Nokia in general. Windows mobile on the other hand, is a bit harder to grasp in the beginning, but you get used to it. The good thing about the Windows Mobile is the advance synchronisation with your PC, emails, outlook, etc. If you are totally dependent on Windows for you contacts, emails, notes, calendar, then Windows Mobile is for you. Symbian is also a bit slower as compared to Windows Mobile. But this may be because Symbian S60 for Nokia E71 is fully loaded, I mean really, it has almost all the things you might need. Hardly I see people with Nokia E71, and installed more than 4 applications. It’s because Nokia has already given so much in the mobile that you do not need much anymore. Windows Mobile 6.5 in HTC Snap is completely empty as compared to Symbian S60 in Nokia E71. You will need to install many applications, but the HTC Snap phone speed is good enough to sustain all the load. So no problems there.
GPS:
Nokia E71 contains Ovi Maps application, while HTC Snap relies on third party applications like Google Maps. Nokia’s Ovi Maps application is much better than the free third party GPS applications for HTC Snap.
Office:
Nokia E71 has Office Pro 2007, while HTC Snap has Office 2010, which is much better.
Adobe Reader:
Nokia E71 users can buy the Adobe Reader LE 2.5 version, while HTC Snap users get it free.
Ovi Store vs Window Mobile Market:
Ovi store has a much bigger variety of applications as compared to Window Mobile Market (for HTC Snap). It seems that Windows Mobile Market has abandoned HTC Snap and other phones with Windows Mobile 6.5.
RAM (memory) and ROM (storage):
HTC Snap provides a 192MB RAM and 256MB ROM, while Nokia E71 provides 120MB RAM, and 110MB ROM. So even though there are more applications available for Nokia E71, you can’t really install much due to RAM and ROM limitation.
Issues:
It is much easier to delete unwanted bloat ware, and junk applications from HTC Snap, as compared to Nokia E71. Luckily both can use X-plore application.
Inbuilt applications:
Nokia E71 comes with inbuilt Internet Radio, 3-D Tones, Radio, RealPlayer, Flash Player, Speech application, Voice Aid, Bar Code Reader, and many more, while HTC Snap users have to find third party applications to enjoy most of these features.
Accessories:
Since Nokia E71 was a much popular mobile, it’s easier and cheaper to find the accessories. But HTC Snap user needs to really find all the accessories for a higher price.
Verdict:
If you want a mobile for messaging, checking and sending many emails, and synchronising with your Windows PC for contacts, calendar, etc., then HTC is a better choice. If you want an overall richer experience, and do not mind the slow processor and tiny buttons on Nokia E71 for typing, then go for Nokia E71.
